Who we are

Whitecap Window Washing LLC is a window cleaning business owned and operated by Kai Williams in Bend, Oregon. This policy covers the website at whitecapwindowwashing.com. If you have a question about any of it, call or text (541) 241-2096 or email info@whitecapwindowwashing.com.

What we collect

Browsing the site is anonymous. You can read every page, look at the gallery, and watch the videos without telling us anything about yourself.

We only collect information when you choose to give it to us:

• When you pay an invoice online: your name, email address, billing ZIP code, and optionally your phone number, along with the amount paid and any tip you add.
• When you call, text, or email: whatever you choose to tell us, such as your name, contact details, and the address where the work is needed.

We do not run advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or social media tracking on this site.

Your card details

We never see your card number. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, a payment processor used by millions of businesses. Your card information goes straight from your browser to Stripe. It does not pass through our website and it is never stored on our server.

What we can see is the same thing you would see on a receipt: your name, the amount, the date, and the last four digits of the card. Stripe keeps its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file your browser stores for a website. Ours are purely functional. If you start a payment, the site sets a cookie so it can remember your invoice amount and tip choice while you move from one page to the next. Without it the payment page would forget what you entered.

We do not use cookies to follow you around the internet or to build an advertising profile. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the payment page will not work properly without them.

Who else sees your information

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing. A small number of companies help us run the business, and they only receive what they need to do their job:

• Stripe processes card payments and sends your receipt.
• Google Workspace hosts our email, so messages you send us are stored there.
• Amazon Web Services hosts this website on servers in the United States.

We may also share information if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request.

How long we keep it

Payment and invoice records are kept for seven years, because tax rules require it. Emails and texts are kept as long as they are useful for serving you, and are deleted when they are not. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. Just call, text, or email using the details at the top of this page. We will respond within 30 days, and there is no charge.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging window cleaning services. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, which is what the padlock in your browser bar means. Payments are handled by Stripe, which is certified to the payment industry’s security standard. No system is perfect, but we do not store card numbers anywhere, which removes the most sensitive piece of data entirely.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on the site.
